Janet Walsh Texas is great. I’ve seen neighbors help neighbors through this. I’ve seen local businesses hand out food. Not many houses built have fireplaces, if they do it’s gas. I was taught growing up to be prepared. Fortunately, my parents live close. One of my sisters and her family lost power and water, so they went to stay at my parents. They live an hour away. They often don’t have enough food too. Hope churches and schools can take them in so that they can at least shelter if there’s wind. Btw I’m from Singapore and when I raised my concerns on my own timeline, an American friend living here said her American friends felt it was the Government‘a responsibility.
