Add the pressures of Covid in the population as well as staff being off themselves with Covid, and it as tragic as it is easy to see, how and why this happened. My heart goes out to the family. This must have been horrendous for them. I heard this last night on radio 4. When I had a stroke in 2019 my local ambulance service ( YAS) were absolutely fantastic and I could not be more grateful . It's so worrying to think what's happening now if anyone needs urgent attention. Does make me question if the current difficulties in getting to see a GP is pushing people to A and E and consequently ambulances are unable to discharge their patients.
