Unlike police and medical professionals, teachers have never been trained or professionally prepared for biohazard scenarios. I know that my contract has nothing about me having to potentially sacrifice my health to teach. Its fairly dangerous to draw parallels between front line first response staff and pastoral care staff like teachers. re biohazards - do you think supermarket workers are taught or trained in that, yet they still serve customers and put food on shelves - serving thousands of customers (including teachers) every day! Re my experience- every parent I know from a host of different schools has had the same experience (especially in the first lockdown up till September) of minimal face to face interaction and worksheets issued but never marked). Why were 40% of children given no lessons or education at all between March and September (report to commons education select committee?)
