They could have used the unions to ensure frontline workers got their vaccines prioritised - but they didn’t so now every pensioner that can easily isolate with no loss of income doesn’t need their mask to go to the shops but frontline workers can’t avoid it, have dependents, can’t live off statutory sick pay are still at risk. Next they prioritised people with special needs. Great! Because statistics show that people with special needs overwhelmingly work in full-time, public-facing jobs. I don’t blame people for trying to scam the system. There’s no fair sense of prioritisation. Boris and co prioritised getting the blue votes from the elderly in the next election over actually reducing the spread. The prioritisation of vaccines is really the only thing they’ve got majorly wrong.
