“World War II—365 Days” by Margaret Wagner draws on the Library’s rich and varied collections to present the conflict as never before seen, with many of the more than 500 images in color.Dawn Sturdevant Baum, a staff attorney with the Native American Rights Fund (NARF), will deliver the keynote address for the Library’s 2009 celebration of Native American Heritage Month. This year’s national theme is "Pride in Our Heritage. Honor to Our Ancestors." The event, which is free and open to the public, will take place at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 18 in the Whittall Pavilion, located on the first floor of the Library’s Thomas Jefferson Building, 10 First Street S.E., Washington, D.C.
